Queen Victoria School is a co-educational fully Boarding School funded by the Ministry of Defence to educate some 270 children of Service Personnel.
We seek a teacher with boarding experience to lead and manage our Junior House of P7/S1 boys and girls. GTC(S)/SSSC registration and PVG registration will be a requirement of the post.

Skill Zone 2 Science Technician
Queen Victoria School is a co-educational Boarding School, set in 45 acres, funded by the Ministry of Defence to educate the children of Service personnel between the ages of 11–18 years.
An opportunity exists in the School Science Department for a Skill Zone 2 Science Technician. The successful applicant will be required to work term time only.
Ideally you will have significant experience, with a sound awareness of all three sciences and relevant experience of working within a Science Lab. Proven ability to work with children and adolescents is essential and therefore a motivated and flexible individual with a sense of vocation is sought for this position. Knowledge of the Scottish Science Syllabus, experience of working within a school environment and a full clean driving licence are desirable.
A requirement of the post will be PVG registration.
The current MoD Industrial salary scale for Skill Zone 2 staff is £16,002 to £18,010 p.a. Starting salary will be £16,002 p.a. pro-rata. The successful applicant may either contribute to the Civil Service Pension Scheme or make other private arrangements.
