If you are an Old Victorian – a former pupil of Queen Victoria School – we would very much like to hear from you, so please do get in touch.

Whatever your memories and experiences of Queen Victoria School, we would like to know about them and to welcome you back to the School if you are able to visit. You will see much that has changed – and much that has not!

If you are prepared to talk with them, it would be very beneficial to be able to introduce you to some of today’s pupils. One of the most valuable resources we have in terms of Careers Advice, is Old Victorians telling our current pupils how they got from where the pupils are now, to where the Old Victorians are today.

Please contact Margaret Symon on telephone no. +44 (0) 131 310 2994, Military 94745 2994 or by email at margaret.symon@qvs.org.uk.

There is also an Old Victorians’ Association (OVA), which works closely with the School although it is not actually part of the School. Most OVA activity tends to take place via their website http://www.oldvictorians.org.uk/

Opportunity to purchase drums from the Pipe Band - a rare chance to acquire an 11 year old drum for yourself.

QVS Pipe Band is purchasing a new set of drums and are selling off a used set that has been well-used for the last eleven years.

The drums are playable but, more than likely, are more suited to be displayed as a small table or converted to a table lamp etc.

All the drums are emblazoned with the School crest and will cost £95.00 for a side or tenor drum or £145.00 for the large bass drum (ideal for a coffee table). Delivery costs applicable, pick up much preferred.

If you are interested in purchasing a drum, please contact Drum Major Jim Clark on 0131 310 2928 or jim.clark@qvs.org.uk.
